Introducing the first image of the special edition sunglasses “L.G.R for Corviglia Ski Club”!

We have taken the classic shapes of the Massawa and Naivasha frames, and have fitted them with ultra protective bi-mirrored lenses, which are ideal for high altitude solar exposure. They have a 400% UV protection, infrared ray protection, and a bi-mirrored coating which blocks the blinding rays of glare created by the light reflected on snow.

L.G.R would like to present its 2nd collector’s edition sunglasses made exclusively for the Corviglia Ski Club. The prestigious club, which sits above the shimmering city of St. Moritz, was founded in 1930, and boasts a history of eminent club members such as Coco Chanel and Jaques Cartier.

We have recreated an elegant and classic piece, which is suitable for both sport and leisure wear. The frames Massawa and Naivasha have been fitted with bi – mirrored lenses, on brown and black cellulose acetate in order to maintain a sophisticated and simple style for a durable eyewear.

How exclusive is this collection you ask? Well if you can make the 2.500 meter hike up the mountain to the club, as an invited guest, than yes you could get a pair of these special L.G.R’s!

L.G.R is pleased to announce the collaboration with the exclusive Corviglia Ski Club in St. Moritz.

L.G.R presents the models Casablanca and Massawa in a limited edition for the Corviglia Ski Club, with flexible hinges, made of celluloid acetate entirely hand made in Italy. The lenses are conceived for the snow and for high altitude solar exposure: bi-mirrored lenses and ultra-protective 400% UV.

The Corviglia Ski Club was born in the 1930′s and is one of the most prestigious in the world and counts among its founders Coco Chanel and Jacques Cartier.

Over the decades several important characters have been guests of the Corviglia like, Orson Welles, Greta Garbo, Aristotele Onassis, Romy Schneider, Brigitte Bardot, Andy Warhol and Valentino.

The limited edition L.G.R sunglasses for Corviglia Ski Club will be exhibited in the club house for members.
