Once again we are excited to announce a new Special Edition made exclusively for the prestigious Corviglia Ski Club in St. Moritz, Switzerland. This year we adapted our specialized and ultra-protective bi-mirrored lenses onto the models Tripoli and Victoria. Perfect for high altitude solar exposure, these lenses allow for a clear luminous vision rendering the snow a little bit warmer with its brown tint.

Frames are only available at the Corviglia Ski Club.

L.G.R would like to introduce its Special Edition Shooting frames for La Polverosa.

Located in an angle of the Maremma region found in the heart of Tuscany, this unique place still remains untouched and thrives from its natural resources. The art of hunting is still practiced here with the spirit of another era.

With the help of experienced hunters, L.G.R has developed a frame made specifically for shooting activity which requires high impact resistance and  protection around the eyes without compromising one’s field of vision. The large frame  is made in a rounded shape to prevent any objects from flying into the eyes. The yellow photochromic and polycarbonate lenses help to sharpen vision and improve depth perception to easily distinguish your target.

L.G.R’s Tommaso Sanfelice got to see the first ever Indian Grand Prix this weekend which took place in the Buddh International Circuit in Greater Noida, Uttar Pradesh, India. Our Tangeri with yellow photochromatic gradient driving lenses were a big hit with the Ferrari team, as you can see in one of the images above. Another year has gone by and we are getting ready for next week’s Silmo opitcal fair in Paris.

This season we have created another solid and inimitable line. Not your everyday common accessory, but something that becomes an object of affection throughout time.

Taking a step further, we will introduce a collection that is made up of new, unparalleled designs, materials and colors.

We have also been working with our specialized technicians and have created a high definition polarized lens that will be an exclusive and permanent addition to our collection.

Finally, another Limited Edition will be coming out !

We visited our laboratory yesterday to check out the new models for Silmo. Here’s an unusual angle of a stack of frontals during the handmade process. Depending on how the light hits this particular acetate, it illuminates the frame to give it an incredible glowing effect. What do you think?

After keeping you in a long awaited suspense, we finally reveal to you with great enthusiasm our RAW Limited Edition collection!

A combination of a rough, unpolished frame with a sophisticated polarized lens, developed exclusively for L.G.R. This collection offers the latest techniques in mineral glass production, making for a unique eyewear experience.

There are 4 models, limited to 100 pieces each.

The special feature of this limited edition are the “L.G.R  Pola.Neophan” lenses which were specifically developed for us.

Neophan lenses were invented during WWII for fighter pilots, in order to increase the vision’s perception of color and the contrast of image (color enhancement).

After a succesful show at the Mido optical fair in Milan, Luca and Tommaso are now heading off to the other side of the Atlantic to exhibit the collection this weekend in New York at Vision Expo East.
