Here’s a shot of Taboo, from The Black Eyed Peas, who walked into the London store Vertice yesterday to pick up one of his very own pair of L.G.R’s in Cape Town!

The sunny days of summer have arrived which means if you are lucky you will be spending most of your time by the water. Protect yourself with our tempered mineral lenses which shield your eyes from the glaring rays of the sun. We visited our laboratory yesterday to check out the new models for Silmo. Here’s an unusual angle of a stack of frontals during the handmade process. Depending on how the light hits this particular acetate, it illuminates the frame to give it an incredible glowing effect. What do you think?

We just finished up our photoshoot and interview with Wallpaper magazine at the Fondazione Pastificio Cerere in Rome this afternoon. Here is Luca and Wallpaper’s editor at large J.J. Martin wearing “Orano” in honey. The article comes out in September, can’t wait!

One of our L.G.R ambassadors, Cecile, took a recent trip to Eritrea and came back with some stunning shots of the white pristine beaches of an island in which we dedicated the name of one of our models to, Enteara. Who wouldn’t mind getting lost in this little paradise ?

Luisa Via Roma asked us to participate in Meyer Onlus’ Noi Per Voi children’s charity event in Florence, where we were more than happy to say yes. Up for raffle were our Tripoli frames in Havana, and as you can see from the images, they were an item much in demand!

Oh Yes, that is Michael Stipe from the legendary band R.E.M, wearing our trademark frames “Massawa” in Havana 02. This shot was taken last week at Istanbul’s International Festival of Culture, Istancool, where we sent over a cool selection of eyewear to the likes of Jefferson Hack, Kirsten Dunst, Tilda Swinton, and many other familiar faces.
